Die Rolle

Scalable’s products depend on a core SaaS Platform, responsible for data collection, processing, storage, security and scalability. This role is a near green-field opportunity to found the automation and ongoing development of the cloud deployment and management infrastructure.

Primäre Verantwortlichkeiten

The key responsibilities of the role are:

• Ownership of the automation of the quality assurance, deployment and management of complex, cloud-based systems.
• Ownership of the process to select appropriate technologies and architectures in pursuit of automation.
• The planning, creation, and maintenance of often complex quality assurance environments.
• Working remotely, the role requires good self-management and attention to detail; the skills to break a large task into measurable parts and then execute to plan is key.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Strong scripting experience.
• Comfortable with the automation of complex tasks.
• Good virtualisation experience (Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, etc).
• Experience with deployment and configuration tools (e.g. Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc).
• Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, scripted, etc).

Nützliche Zusatzfähigkeiten

• Dev experience with:
  • Java
  • Javascript (JavaScript)
• QA automation experience:
  • Last- und Leistungstests
  • Broader experience than just UI testing, e.g. API testing, DB testing
• Experience with test frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, etc.
• Erfahrung in der Konfiguration und Verwaltung komplexer Multi-Tier-Systeme

Erforderliche Ausbildung

There are no formal higher education requirements for this role, however a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required. A related degree and/or relevant industry certifications are desirable.
