Cloud sprawl is seen with increasing frequency in organizations that have begun their journey to the cloud. Business units or even individuals are standing up cloud services without the overarching management of the IT function. IT must have purview over all cloud services in order to achieve visible accountability and prevent IT costs from spiraling out of control.
