Bookkeeper & Human Resources Administrator

LOCATION: Austin, Texas (downtown)

REPORTS TO: Company Controller

Position Summary:

Scalable Software, a growing international SaaS company, is looking for a highly-motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & HR Administrator. The position is a hybrid role including bookkeeping, Human Resources, and office administration. This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team and work in a fast-paced environment. The position will work closely with the Senior Accountant and the Controller. The role is hands-on and will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer success, product management, and software development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping:
    • Customer invoicing and accounts receivable management; maintenance of revenue schedules and monthly reports
    • Employee expense reimbursement processing and policy enforcement
    • Accounts payable
    • Assistance with annual budget
    • Preparation of monthly reports
  • Human Resources:
    • Point of contact for employees
    • Benefits administration
    • Onboard new employees (background and credit checks, creation of offer letters, etc.)
    • 401(k) and pension administration
    • Provide recruiting assistance to other departments
    • Maintenance of employee files, organization charts, phone list, and holiday schedules

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years in bookkeeping and human resources
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong communicator

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Expensify, and Salesforce
