Account Executive – US West Coast

LOCATION: US West Coast

This is a strategic revenue growth position with the primary focus on developing and selling net new business opportunities for the company’s Asset Vision® Cloud based ITAM solution family. The successful Account Executive must be a self-directed, experienced and motivated individual with a strong work ethic and superior sales abilities. As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for following up on incoming leads, prospecting for new business by making outbound calls to generate interest and handling all aspects of selling and servicing accounts in an assigned territory.

A Day in the Life of the Account Executive – About the Role:

Achieve sales quotas for allocated territory on a quarterly and annual basis by:

  • Developing a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list, a regional sales plan
  • Prospect qualification, development and execution of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams
  • Building effective relationships and business plans with ‘go-to-market’ partners and acting as the face of Scalable Software to drive revenue opportunities within target markets
  • Tailoring the Scalable Software value proposition to prospects based on in-depth research of specific business conditions and drivers
  • Pipeline management, sales process management including effective forecasting and opportunity closure
  • Arranging and conducting initial product demonstrations and presentations that are tailored to the prospect and focusing on their business drivers
  • Being the trusted advisor to the customer and/or ‘go-to-market’ partner by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Scalable Software solution within the marketplace
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key executives and decision makers

Required Qualifications – About You:

We are seeking the very best, high calibre sales candidates for Scalable Software – with a strong work ethic, you are an intelligent, driven, energetic and coachable individual. In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • You’ve a demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding new business sales targets within a large territory
  • You’ve previous sales experience gained within software or an IT sales organisation
  • You’ve previous SaaS sales experience highly desirable
  • You’re commercially astute, experienced in developing business case and ROI together with customer’s personnel
  • You’ve the ability to understand the ‘bigger picture’ and the business drivers
  • You’ve the ability to articulate the value of solutions to prospects and customers and to leverage this to drive maximum revenue opportunity
  • You’ve the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of both prospect/customer organisations including C-level and internally across the business
  • You’re bright – Degree educated or equivalent
