Integration of Scalable’s IT asset management capabilities into EasyVista’s ITSM Platform Empowers Service Desk Managers to Move with Greater Insight and Speed

This integration allows for data exchange between Scalable Software’s Asset Vision® RegistryTM IT asset management product and EasyVista’s service management platform.

With this integration, the following new capabilities are available to service desk professionals on the front lines supporting end users:

• Dependency Mapping with Asset Vision Registry – Service desk professionals can automatically detect dependencies between different IT elements in their environment and map that out graphically, ensuring that should an IT issue happen, the service desk can quickly spot and fix the root cause.
• Discovery with Asset Vision Registry – Service desk professionals can automatically discover all of the elements in their IT environment from software and virtual machines to PCs and hardware with no human interaction needed—a process that is often painfully manual and time-consuming.
• Software Assurance with Asset Vision Registry – Service desk professionals can discover all of the different installations of software in their environment across a wide variety of vendors and track usage of that software, ensuring the company is never out of compliance in a software audit while making it possible to reallocate licenses from light users to heavy ones.
