Asset Vision™ is a complete end-to-end IT Asset Management network discovery and software inventory solution that is fully extensible and platform agnostic. Most network devices can be discovered and reported on via the dynamic discovery engine. Once a device or multiple devices have been discovered, intelligent asset associations can be easily established via the customizable schema and User Interface. Support for common internet protocols and discovery methods include ICMP, TCP/IP stack fingerprinting, LDAP, AMT, SNMP, WMI, SSH with many other protocols being added in the near future. Each of these discovery methods can be extended and customized dependent on any specific requirements mandated by the organization.

Native platform support includes: Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris, HP UX and AIX. Comprehensive discovery accountability dashboards are provided out of the box which can be used to gauge the effectiveness of the discovery process and identify any potential firewall issues or configuration gaps.
