Mark Cresswell – President & CEO
Mark Cresswell brings a wealth of industry experience to Scalable Software overseeing plans to develop and acquire new products and services and increase its international reach. Prior to his position at Scalable, Mr. Cresswell served as Chief Executive Officer of NEON Systems, Inc. NEON was a NASDAQ listed company that specialized in middleware to integrate IBM mainframes. Prior to joining NEON, Mr. Cresswell was Managing Director of Framesoft, a private Swiss company that developed solutions for the investment banking market. Mr. Cresswell has broad industry experience in development, sales, marketing and product management; and is a frequent speaker on Asset Lifecycle Management issues. Mr. Cresswell is a member of the board of directors of the Federation Against Software Theft (FAST) www.fastiis.org and the Cloud Industry Forum http://www.cloudindustryforum.org/
Nick Youell – Vice President of Products
Nick Youell is responsible for Product Development and Delivery for all Scalable Software product lines and provides leadership for product strategy and product roadmaps. Accruing over 20 years of technical, management, and executive experience in technology and software, Mr. Youell previously held positions as EMEA Regional Business Manager at Altiris and EMEA Business Director for Tonic Software.
Paul Pieske – Vice President of Marketing
Paul Pieske holds responsibility for the planning and execution of the company’s marketing initiatives and strategies. Mr. Pieske joins Scalable Software with a strong record at enterprise systems software companies, ranging in size from early-stage to market leader. Prior to his position at Scalable, Paul was Market Development Officer at Intellectual Property Management software company Vortex-IP, where he managed corporate marketing and business development initiatives. Prior to Vortex-IP Mr. Pieske was Director of the PC Lifecycle Management business at Attachmate Corporation, acquired by Scalable in 2008. Later, Paul served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at OnDemand Software where he helped position the company for an acquisition by Attachmate/NetIQ. Paul had earlier experience at SmartDisk Corporation and Xerox’s LAN/- WAN security technology division.
Kristin D’Alessio – Director of Finance and Administration
Kristin D’Alessio is Director of Finance and Administration for Scalable Software. She is responsible for the collection and preparation of all financial data and works closely with the Executive Team on the implementation of all key business decisions. Kristin is also responsible for other key administrative functions such as contracts management, purchasing and human resources. Kristin came to Scalable by way of the acquisition of META Security Group in 2005. Originally hired as a Financial and Administrative Analyst, Kristin’s experience took her into roles that included sales and marketing support, human resources, accounting, and ultimately finance and administration. She has been closely involved with money raising, due diligence and preparing information for Board review. Prior to joining META in 2001, Kristin worked as a Paralegal with specific experience in Corporate Litigation.
Mike Herzog – Vice President of Customer Success
Mike Herzog is Vice President of Customer Success for Scalable Software and is responsible for managing the Sales Engineer team, our world class Customer Support Center, and Professional Services. Mr. Herzog joined Scalable Software in 1999 as a Product Design Manager where he was instrumental in designing the current Survey product and continues to influence the development of the future product design and roadmap based on his vast front-line customer service experiences and product feedback. During his tenure with Scalable, he has held numerous positions including Sr. Software Engineer and Technical Services & Support Manager. Prior to Scalable Software, Mr. Herzog was a Sr. Business Consultant for TransEnergy Management Software, where he successfully implemented energy management software for major E&P companies.
Pat Hardee – Vice President of Alliances
Pat Hardee is responsible for Scalable Software’s worldwide Partner Alliance efforts. Mr. Hardee is a veteran of the enterprise solution software industry. With over 23 years in sales, channel sales, alliance development, and executive management positions, Mr. Hardee brings to the company a wealth of partner and customer facing experience. Most recently, Mr. Hardee was responsible for architecting and managing channel efforts for WebTrends, Inc. Prior to his leadership roles at WebTrends, he served as Director of North America Channels at NetIQ, Software Division General Manager at Visioneer, and senior level sales management positions at Software Publishing Corporation.
